Sustainable Decor
Must Be The Future…
Textile industry,
serving humankind from
cradle to grave.
When we look into the industry and the eco-concerns, one ends up thinking, “What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet loses his soul?” Recycling and sustainable production needs to be seen as a very significant sector to strengthen in the near future.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO SHIFT TEXTILES TO ECO TEXTILES
Textiles that take into account the environment, the health of consumers and working conditions of people in the industry.
Our Approach to ECO TEXTILES
Plant based Textiles
Fibers that are derived from something that grows rather than being synthetically produced. The sustainable advantage of plant-based textiles is that their origin is natural and, therefore, more eligible to recirculate in existing ecosystems. Plant crops like Seagrass, Water hyacinth, Aloe vera, Sun hemp, Kenaf, Jute etc. are great options to choose.
Handmade processes
How technology can support the transformation of textiles in more circular ways, reduce environmental impact and improve human well-being. Our handmade processes also resolves critical issues such as energy usage or durability of natural fibres
Ethical working conditions for workers
Our makers are the heart and soul. From farmers who grow plants like wool, jute, seagrass etc to workers who weave their heart into the rug get livelihood support as well as social equity. It is our responsibility to constantly incite meaningful change in our journey to become socially conscious.
Health of consumers
Carpets made from plants often absorbs and releases moisture, helping to regulate indoor humidity levels. They also reduce exposure to harmful chemicals and allergens. There is nothing more positive compared to the natural beauty and uniqueness to live with.
Over Production Is Out Of Question
We do not believe in fast fashion mentality of overproduction overconsumption and disposal.
Making More From Less
We use every bit of our fabric – few of our collections are made of waste fabric.
Slow Fashion
We exclusively source 100% organic threads and natural materials that are processed without harmful pesticides.
Ethically Yours
Through economic empowerment, artisans are able to improve their own lives, invest in their families.
We are living on this planet
as if we had another one to go to.
Do not be so sure about Mars yet.”
Stylish & thoughtful
in harmony with the
natural ecosystems
We are here to show that it is possible to be stylish while being environmentally thoughtful and in harmony with the natural ecosystems, we inhabit. We are committed to creating products and services that inspire and support people who make it and people who consume it to make positive lifestyle changes, consume more sustainably, and live better everyday lives.
There are only a few who are aware and mindful about it.
You and we together need to revolutionize
eco-fashion – handmade, organic and sustainable.
JOURNEY OF SEAGRASS
FROM PLANT TO RUG
Seagrass is harvested by cutting the leaves from the seagrass plants. Harvesting is done carefully to ensure sustainability and minimal impact on the environment. The seagrass is then laid out in the sun to dry and to remove excess moisture. The dried seagrass is twisted or braided into long strands. The seagrass strands are woven on a loom to create the rug’s foundation. The skills and craftsmanship that define our carpet production are centuries-old craft, combining meticulous skill with cultural expression. Artisans weave individual tales into each fiber, creating unique masterpieces that transcend time..
